A Print To Remember

OMG can't believe I have left it this long to blog but, been very busy recently with coming back to my adorable little cottage in Kent...

Anyways, whilst researching for my new project (which is a collaboration idea between a designer and high street brand of your choice - J'ADORE!!!) I came across the fact that Jonathan Saunders (my all time favourite designer of all time, a close second to Chanel of course!) created the Birds of Paradise print for Alexander McQueen's S/S Irere collection as shown in the link below:

NUCA Fashion Show

My garment started off the show!!!

On Thursday, me and the first years at NUCA showcased our work at House of Fraser in the Chapelfield Mall in Norwich Fashion Week.

The crowds were bustling and the show was a success with the models all walking our creations with such grace.

It was such an exciting experience and to witness your own designs on show is very fulfilling.

I also got the chance to act as a runner for the second showing and I am not going to lie - it was stressful but would would do it all again in a heartbeat.

Introduction

Hi, so i thought i would try and start my own blog for the first time. I know right where was I 7 years ago. Yeh I know i've just been a little nervous about doing one but, new year so here goes.


I am a NUCA student and currently studying my first year in Fashion. Originally from Kent so a bloomin long way from home for me but the funny thing is that I am originally from here. Proper Kings Lynn gal I am - HELL NO!!!! Kent through and through boi.
